With the heat that we have been feeling these days, you may have not been able to think of anything other than ways to stay cool. But while your search for the nearest vent pushing out cool, refreshing air continues, you probably haven’t even realized that you have sweated halfway through wedding season. Can you believe it?
So what does this mean to you? It means that although we are halfway through one season, our next season is booking up. The summer of 2013 is focused on the summer of 2014 if you are planning a wedding. Now is the time that venues, caterers, photographers, limousines, etc. are all being booked. Open dates are fewer and farther between and availability is getting tight.
Hopefully, you have already visited some venues and met with a few vendors. If so, you are probably beginning to understand what you like and what you are looking for. If there is a place or vendor that you like and a date is open for you, all we have to say to you is, “Book it!” You don’t want to be locked out and left with your fingers crossed, hoping that some unfortunate bride is going to cancel her wedding so that you can swoop in and take the day. The bottom line is that while planning your wedding involves some major decision making, its best to get things started as soon as possible. Because, as the saying goes, the early bird (or bride) gets the worm!
